Digital Access Pass v2.0 is here!

2/23/2009 By Ravi Jayagopal Leave a Comment

DAP v2.0 is out now. Very excited. Stuffed with really cool features.

We now have a new WordPress plugin with a pretty slick name (at least I think so :-), called “LiveLinks“.

It makes your blog appear “alive” – as in, show different content to different folks (members, non-members, those who just joined, those who are repeat subscribers, etc).

Marc Andreesen on Video, iPhone, FaceBook and Google

2/22/2009 By Ravi Jayagopal 1 Comment

Excellent interview by Charlie Rose.

And the discussion about monetizing FaceBook is very interesting.

And a cool thing about Google Video (not to be confused with YouTube) is that you get a link right on the page, to download the video (iPod/iPhone friendly). So load up for offline viewing at the gym or on the train!

Oops, I Sold A Subscription By Mistake

2/22/2009 By Ravi Jayagopal Leave a Comment

Something amazing happened today: A customer paid money and purchased a ‘monthly’ subscription to one of my sites.

Ok, so maybe nothing spectacular about that. But now get this…

I haven’t even launched that web site yet!

Tons of spelling and grammatical errors on the page. I hadn’t even done a spell-check. Can’t remember publishing an actual working “buy” link. The bonuses are not ready. Heck, I haven’t even completed the sales page yet!

So, at first, I was insanely thrilled that I had actually made a sale to a non-existent product, on a web site that no one knows about except two of my closest buddies (to whom I had sent the link to get their opinion on the sales copy, and one of them hasn’t even looked at it yet)!

But my joy was short lived…

My latest customer – who now has the “exclusive title” of being my “Very First Member Ever” – actually decided to make the purchase thanks to one of the super-cool bonuses I am offering on this site. This bonus is a $50 off the very Membership Script that I am using to run this new, yet-to-be-launched site!

And that’s how crazy-cool this membership software Digital Access Pass (codename: DAP) is.

But being one of the developers of DAP, I have some “insider” information: We’re launching version 2.0 of DAP in less than 48 hours.

And in 48 hours, the price of DAP goes UP from $197 to $297.

But, if you go to my new site and sign up for a free trial to this new scripts-club, I will give you a “secret” link from where you can purchase DAP for only $147 instead of $297.

And for $147, you get a 3-web site license. Plus free installation. Plus an INCREDIBLE new WordPress plugin called “LiveLinks” (your entire blog’s content will dynamically change based on who is viewing it!). This plugin alone is worth $100. But you can get the ENTIRE thing for just $147.

But you have less than 48 hours to do this.

So hurry up, go to my new, yet-to-be-launched, yet-to-be-finished, yet-to-complete-the-sales-page membership site Techiiies.com, and sign up for a free trial. And I will email you the secret $147 purchase link to buy Digital Access Pass within hours.

Plus I will be launching this new site in a week anyway. And at that time, I will send you the entire first month content of Techiiies.com. And I can almost guarantee that once you have seen the kind of stuff I’m going to churning out at Techiiies.com, you’ll never leave 🙂
